RESIDENTIAL QUARTERS IN GRÜNEN, MARKKLEEBERG

In close coordination with the Markkleeberg City Planning Office and the project developer Reinbau GmbH, an urban development concept was developed by the architectural firm Behzadi + Partner.

The concept focuses on creating a traffic connection between Städtelner Straße and Hermann-Müller-Straße, finding an urban planning solution for the transition from commercial areas to residential development, and—most importantly—developing a residential area. This area is designed to offer various housing options for different population groups through diverse house types and lot sizes, providing both open space and privacy despite the dense settlement character, while also fostering a sense of community within the neighborhood.

The project has been in the implementation phase since 2021.
