WOHNALTERNATIVE 50PLUS

On Breitschuhstraße in Leipzig, the construction of a multi-story residential building is planned. The 50plus Living Alternative is a concept that focuses on communal living, inclusivity, and an ecological lifestyle. The design meets these requirements by using sustainable and renewable materials, with an emphasis on energy efficiency and accessibility.

The new residential building will be free-standing with a staircase and a centrally located elevator system. A total of 11 residential units are planned, offering diverse layout options for various uses.

The ground floor will feature club and meeting rooms, characterized by a generously glazed facade that showcases their functionality outwardly. The first to third floors will each contain three residential units, ranging in size from 38 square meters to 95 square meters.

All apartment types will have either a balcony or a loggia. The top floor will include a spacious rooftop terrace. Additionally, the upper roof areas will be extensively greened, and significant sections of the facade will feature vertical greenery.

The roof will accommodate solar thermal panel installations. In line with ecological planning, the property will also include two electric vehicle charging stations.

Construction is scheduled to begin in 2023.
