ROOM OF SILENCE, GOK LEIPZIG
The project involved the artistic reorganization and presentation of stained glass windows from an old altar room of the former German Armed Forces hospital, to be incorporated into the newly developed assembly hall of the General Olbricht Barracks in Leipzig.
Today, the assembly hall serves as a space for silence and reflection. As a multipurpose room, the design demanded high standards both in concept and execution. Alongside the spatial development and furnishing of the room, a specialized lighting concept was created, allowing for different lighting atmospheres depending on the room’s use.
