ALUMNI OF THE THOMANER CHOIR, LEIPZIG

As part of an open competition organized by the City of Leipzig, Behzadi + Partner Architekten BDA developed a design based on the clear reorganization of the historic main building.

The change to the previous living and working layout in shared apartments involves an increase in the space required by the Thomanerchor and thus a necessary extension. The new single-storey structure is a raised terrace that complements the overall ground plan, which has grown into a square.
