MEDICAL CENTER, GELTOW

In March 2007, construction began on a new multi-story medical center in Geltow, near Potsdam. The project was completed on schedule and handed over in February 2009.

A key focus of the project was the complex construction challenge of implementing a white tank (a watertight concrete structure) in the area of an old tank facility, which included necessary groundwater lowering and associated pollutant removal, all while meeting deadlines and quality standards. The high-quality interior fit-out was designed to meet user requirements and comply with hygienic standards for hospital construction. The building design and execution planning were developed by Plan 2 from Munich.
