PARKING GARAGE, SEESENERSTRAßE, BERLIN
On a narrow strip of land along the railway tracks in the heart of Berlin, there is an urgent need to improve the parking situation for the surrounding residential area.
The multi-story parking garage is accessed via two ramps, and the building effectively serves as a noise barrier for the adjacent residential buildings while making a strong urban design statement. The structure of the parking garage is characterized by a dynamic interplay of closed and open facade elements.
