TWO-FIELD SPORTS HALL FRANDLEBEN

For about two years, the sports activities and club life of SV Friesen Frankleben 1887 e.V. have been unable to take place in the local sports hall, as it was deemed unusable and had to be closed for safety reasons. In Frankleben, a district of Braunsbedra, a replacement building is now being constructed—a two-field sports hall. The new sports hall is located on the site of the previously used Harry-Kassler-Sports Hall.

A purely functional two-court sports hall, primarily focused on handball, was planned and has since been constructed, along with an adjoining sanitation block with ancillary rooms. In consultation with the city of Braunsbedra and the facility’s users, retractable bleachers with seating for approximately 100 spectators have been integrated into the hall.

With the construction of the new hall, club activities, events, tournaments, and numerous training sessions can be maintained in the local area, and new opportunities for social interaction and volunteer engagement will be created.
