GERMAN EMBASSY MAURITANIA, NOUAKCHOTT
The Federal Foreign Office has planned renovation, reconstruction, demolition, and new construction measures for the properties of the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Mauritania, Nouakchott.
The task is managed by the Hochbauamt Freiburg in an acting capacity.
The compound of the German Embassy is located in the northern city center of Nouakchott, in the Tevragh Zeina district.
The buildings and facilities in the southern part of the compound were constructed in the 1970s on behalf of the Federal Building Authority. The northern part of the compound was acquired later.
The construction project is divided into several phases to maintain ongoing operations as much as possible.
The measures to be implemented include the renovation of the residence, the renovation of the service apartments, partial renovation and updating of the pool building, renovation of the cafeteria, as well as partial updates, demolition, and renovation of other buildings within the complex.
