THE GATEWAY TO THE CITY, NORTHERN SAXONY

In the north of Saxony, a multifamily house is being constructed, prominently positioned at the entrance to a small town. Divided into three structures, this residential building meets the highest standards.

Behzadi + Partner Architekten BDA has been commissioned with the design, approval, and detailed planning, as well as construction supervision. The tripartite building complex is visually distinguished by varying heights and facade materials, some of which feature green facades. Additionally, a rooftop garden offers a place to relax. Parking spaces will be located on the ground floor level. Completion is planned for 2022.

The design itself is based on the urban development concept by Kahnt & Tietze in Leipzig, who were tasked with creating the initial design under the guidelines of the development plan for Düben’s old town renovation area, “Section Block 4.
