SPORTS HALL OF THE GENERAL OLBRICHT BARRACKS, LEIPZIG

As part of the expansion of the General-Olbricht-Barracks into the central Bundeswehr location in Leipzig, existing often historically protected barracks buildings are being supplemented with new functional structures. In close proximity to the sports fields, a new sports hall with a conditioning room was constructed by 2004 as part of the expansion concept. Designed as a centrally divisible double hall, it offers a comprehensive range of uses due to numerous built-in features.
