GOK STAFF BUILDING, LEIPZIG

As part of the realignment of defense tasks, the General-Olbricht Barracks will be expanded to become the sole Bundeswehr location in Leipzig. This centralization requires architectural additions and modifications to meet the increased demands at the site. Our office developed the design concept for these requirements. The basis for this necessary design development was the creation of five fundamentally different building structures. In September 2003, Variant 1 was selected for further development.
