Green light for Großstädteln residential quarter, Markleeberg
In the south of Markleeberg, Reinbau GmbH is planning the development of a new residential area on two fallow plots of land belonging to the Protestant parishes of Markkleeberg-West and Großstädtlen-Großdeuben.
In coordination with the Markkleeberg city planning office and the project developer Reinbau GmbH, our office has developed an urban development concept for this purpose.
After presenting the project to the Committee for Strategic Urban Development and Economy and the Technical Committee, the City Council decided in March 2017 that the development plan for the area should be drawn up.
The aim of the B-plan procedure is to create planning law requirements for the implementation of the residential area with the associated development and infrastructure as well as a new transport link between the residential areas in the south of Markkleeberg.
In June 2017, the Markleeberg City Council decided at the public city council meeting
the resolution for the preparation of the B-plan “Residential Quarter Großstädteln”
and thus gives its consent to the fact that the planned area may be built on.
