AUDIGAST MANOR HOUSE, LISTED BUILDING
Built in 1753, the heritage-listed manor house of a former estate is situated within a park in the village of Audigast near Leipzig. This well-preserved Baroque building holds significant local, architectural, and cultural importance.
The estate, which includes the manor house with an annex, outbuildings (such as barns), and surrounding grounds, is primarily intended for residential use, with additional plans for cultural and commercial purposes. The centrally located manor house will be dedicated to residential and cultural activities, while the outbuildings are earmarked for commercial use. The manor house sits on a water-surrounded plot and spans three floors with a net area of approximately 1,400 square meters. It comprises three sections: a three-story main house (including a mansard roof), a two-story annex with a round stair tower, and a single-story adjoining extension.
The scope of the renovation and modernization includes the restoration of the Audigast manor house in accordance with heritage conservation standards, along with modifications, such as the addition of balcony structures and a winter garden as part of the initial phase of the project.
