WohnAlternative 50plus - Living in Community, Leipzig
At Breitschuhstraße 28-30 in Leipzig, the construction of a multi-storey residential building is planned.
The “WohnAlternative 50plus” is a concept that focuses on communal living and an inclusive and ecological way of life. The design meets these requirements through the use of sustainable and renewable materials, with a focus on energy efficiency and accessibility.
The new residential building is to be free-standing with a staircase and a centrally located elevator system. A total of 11 residential units are planned, with different floor plans offering a wide range of possible uses. On the ground floor, for example, club and meeting rooms are to be created, which manifest themselves through generous glazing of the façade façade with its functional effect to the outside. On the 1st to 3rd floors, three residential units are planned, varying between 38 sqm and 95 sqm.
The different types of apartments will all be equipped with a balcony/loggia. The staggered floor has a generously designed roof terrace. At the same time, the upper roof surfaces will be extensively greened and key façade areas will be provided with façade greening.
Areas for the installation of solar thermal panels are to be created on the roof. In the spirit of ecological planning, two electric stations for cars will be located on the property.
Construction is scheduled to start in 2023.
