Renovation of existing building on the grounds of the German Embassy, Nouakchott / Mauritania
Construction work on the grounds of the German Embassy in Nouakchott / Mauritania is progressing. Until the beginning of the corona crisis, all construction work was on schedule. Individual sub-areas have already been accepted as planned.
The project includes the individual measures of renovation of the residence and the service residential buildings, cafeteria and pool area, as well as the new construction of the external guard, the upgrading of the outdoor enclosure and the new construction of the connecting road.
The residence, official residence and outbuildings on the compound of the German Embassy were built in the 1970s and are now essentially in a state from the time of construction. A fundamental renovation has not taken place in the more than 40 years of use, and the condition of all space-forming components is correspondingly worn.
In the course of the overall renovation, all buildings, with the exception of the law firm, will be completely renovated and adapted to the current requirements for the state of the art.
