SPORTS AND CULTURE HALL MARKET MÖMBRIS

The project comprises the construction of a sports and culture hall, including parking spaces and open areas, on a plot of land owned by the municipality (plot no. 552), which is located between the Ivo Zeiger School and the Catholic kindergarten in Mömbris. The planned area of around 7,500 m² is sufficient for the hall, which will offer around 700 seats and 1,000 standing places. There are no specific architectural specifications, but the design must take into account legal and urban planning aspects.

The hall will serve multiple functions, including hosting cultural events, sports competitions and community activities, with features such as flexible seating arrangements and a mobile stage. The design emphasizes sustainability, energy efficiency and low maintenance costs. The design must integrate with existing nearby facilities, including schools and recreational facilities, and ensure that construction does not disrupt ongoing school operations. Existing structures on the site, including part of the Ivo Zeiger School and an outdated swimming pool, will be demolished to make way for the new building. The hall will provide necessary amenities such as restrooms and storage and is expected to use renewable energy sources.

The overall goal is to create a functional, aesthetically pleasing and multifunctional space that meets the needs of the community.
