German Meteorological Service, Potsdam
BLB Potsdam commissioned Behzadi + Partner Architekten BDA to develop a spatial design concept for the German Meteorological Service branch in Potsdam.
The new DWD branch building forms a visual and functional unit from the structure of buildings to be renovated and newly constructed. Part of this U-shaped structure are the existing buildings to be renovated, the striking tower building, the new building complexes to be erected and the technical components of the data center and the high-bay warehouse.
