Urban planning workshop Goyastraße, Leipzig
As part of an urban planning workshop, the aim was to develop a comprehensive concept for the inner-city area on Goyastraße. From west to east, along the edge of the Goyastraße development, the areas of age-appropriate living, a nursing home as well as a kindergarten and sports school complex are zoned. From an urban planning point of view, the otherwise single-storey kindergarten along this edge is planned as a 2-storey substructure between the three-storey buildings. The residential and nursing home development as well as the kindergarten form a structurally coherent development complex in the site plan. The breaking of the newly emerging course of the river underlines the deliberate interconnection, which is reflected in the open space design in the sense of the intergenerational joint project (integrative garden area).
