“Pergamon Museum – Panorama of the Ancient Metropolis” by Yadegar Asisi.
Berlin’s Museum Island has another attraction: the large panorama of the lost metropolis of Pergamon. With the construction of a panoramic construction planned in the inner courtyard of the Pergamon Museum, visitors will be able to experience ancient Pergamon in a spectacular way from 01.10.2011 for a period of one year on a 360° panoramic image of 100 m length, 35 m diameter and approx. 28 m height. Our office was responsible for the structural-architectural implementation of the panoramic construction. This included participation in the design planning, the submission of the building application and the complete solution of the extremely complicated logistical and static-constructive issues.
