Participation in the façade design competition of the awarding body HOCHTIEF:
The aim was to minimise the space required within the boundaries of the specified building site and thus to loosen up the cramped spatial situation compared to the neighbouring Europahaus.
As a result, a rotunda is proposed as a striking urban sculpture with an independent outdoor staircase in front of it in the form of a second shell. The exterior design is determined by a spiral with a diameter of 38 m, which is terminated by a canopy at a height of 31 m.
