The gymnasium at the airship harbour in Potsdam was opened
The University of Potsdam’s gymnasium was officially opened on 1 October this year. The celebrations were originally planned for 2020, but were postponed by a year due to the coronavirus lockdown.
At the beginning of October, the use of the Potsdam gymnasium by students became official. Despite the delayed opening, they are already making full use of the 2,9000 square metre gymnasium.
“We are very pleased that our degree programmes can now take place at the highest level, even by international standards, thanks to the hall’s state-of-the-art equipment.” University President Prof Oliver Günther, Ph.D., proudly proclaimed this sentence.
Gerit Fischer, Technical Director of the Brandenburg State Office for Real Estate and Construction, also praised our functional and aesthetically high-quality design as well as the recognition value of the unique façade structure.
