Exhibition Collection of Antiquities, Pergamon Museum, Berlin
The Pergamon Panorama also marked the opening of the parallel exhibition in the north wing of the Pergamon Museum.
On display are 450 objects from the archive of the Collection of Classical Antiquities, some of which are being presented to the museum public for the first time.
On the basis of an exhibition concept by Yadegar Asisi, the accompanying exhibition of the Collection of Antiquities was developed and implemented by Behzadi + Partner Architekten BDA on behalf of the Prussian Cultural Heritage Foundation.
The exhibits of the historically highly valuable and partly hidden archival material, which have been specially selected for the accompanying exhibition, will be presented to the public in a separate tour in the north wing.
The exhibition architecture is characterised by an alternating interplay between large, bright structures and narrow passageways that narrow the space.
