Show bakery Backhaus Hennig, Leipzig
The design for the representative show bakery Backhaus Hennig was presented to the Design Forum of the City of Leipzig.
In the immediate vicinity of Leipzig’s main railway station, a show bakery of the Hennig bakery is to be built on the site of the Freiladebahnhof. The planned building will serve as a production facility for baked goods and, thanks to its “glass” design, will offer visitors an insight into all production processes up close. On the upper floor, additional space will be created for training and conference rooms. Due to the striking urban location of the property, the edge of the building was taken up and implemented in a curved form of the building.
