Exhibition 40auf40 BDA Gallery, Berlin

On October 24, 2011, the exhibition was opened. 40/40.
45 participants formulated their ideas in the format of the classic paper napkin – 40 cm x 40 cm. Thus, the exhibition shows a wide variety of positions on the location discussion of the new Central and State Library Berlin, which are presented in a variety of ways – from hand sketches to elaborated architectural visualizations.

Our contribution to the exhibition:
“Central knowledge centrally networked”:
Due to its numerous connections (subway, S-Ringbahn, bus, motorway), Tempelhofer Feld is an excellent building site for the construction of a central library. Collected works of the State of Berlin are bound to a network in the form of compressed knowledge, which enables every citizen to access them quickly and easily.
In a future-oriented way, this aspect supports the meaning of the information society in which we find ourselves.
