Interim inspection of the former party school in Erfurt
From 1 December 2022, the first training course for future customs candidates will start in the former party school in Erfurt. The accommodation, the empty rooms and the offices should be ready for occupancy by then. The current status of work was presented on site yesterday.
The old party school in Erfurt is a typical example of GDR architecture from the 1970s and therefore poses a particular challenge for us as an architectural firm in terms of monument protection. This project is also very demanding in terms of the urban planning approach and the coordination of deadlines. At the same time, it is “a privilege for us to be able to recreate everything in its original form,” emphasises Anuschah Behzadi.
