Residential building Parkstraße, Markkranstädt
The Markranstädter Bau- und Wohnungsverwaltungsgesellschaft planned to construct a modern residential building as a continuation of a closed urban district.
The design was developed in 2007 and the building application was submitted. Construction began in June 2009. After almost a year of construction, the modern residential building is available for future tenants. A frame of light-coloured concrete strips surrounds and structures the glass façade. The hinges are interconnected to each other, grasping the entrance door on the ground floor and at the same time providing a horizontal support surface for the façade elements.
