Day of Architecture in Saxony
The Saxon Chamber of Architecture invites you to this year’s Day of Architecture. The event offers many opportunities to experience buildings first-hand and in the immediate vicinity. Among other things, our project “Haus Wiederitzsch” was selected.
The unused inn “Haus Wiederitzsch” – once “Bergschlösschen Wiederitzsch” – was revived according to its use and expanded with a new hotel building and a connecting building as a guest room. The aim was to rebuild the front building in its full splendour and original scale in accordance with its original period of around 1870/80 in order to continue to represent the face of the new building ensemble in the future. The intermediate building, which is initially subordinate to the structure, mediates between the two buildings through the return of the cube-like formal language.
We cordially invite you to the presentation of the property on June 24, 2023 from 3:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. at Delitzscher Landstraße 47, 04158 Leipzig.
The event is aimed at anyone interested in architecture, design and urban development.
