Concept development of office and commercial building, Behrensufer Berlin
For Deutsche Immobilien Entwicklung, DIE | AG, the concept development of a multi-storey office and commercial building with mixed use in the context of the listed Peter Behrens Building in Berlin was developed. In terms of storeys, façade structure and materiality, the characteristics of the location are to be taken up.
On an above-ground gross floor area of around 43,000 m², more than 6,600 m² of retail space and almost 23,000 m² of office space were planned.
Different floor plan and façade structures were examined and resulted in a multi-layered building design that does justice to all functions and can confidently assert itself at the location.
